As plant fever continues, I reckoned that I'd be needing some new pots pretty soon. Being unemployed I thought it'd be time to explore alternative solutions to plant holding with a trip to Value Village. Plus, it's getting close to Hallowe'en and a trip there is never amiss for ideas. Though I might go a slightly cheap route and just reuse another old costume like last year. It's a new city so they've never seen it and well, might as well get a couple uses out of them.
Back to the plants…
There wasn't much at Value Village. But I did pick up these two lovely items and I figure with some careful melting in the oven I should have two new plant containers for $4! Which, considering they're LP's, is a bit of a ripoff, but, well, that's what you pay for nostalgia.

PS – Wait, did I even like Cabbage Patch Kids as a kid? Is this real nostalgia, or just commercial nostalgia?
